    Below are job opportunities available to high school students by area organizations that have contacted Saratoga High School. SHS in no way endorses any of these organizations but simply makes the information available to our student body. Students and their parents must to do their own due diligence on any organization that they contact. 
    Students must also obtain a work permit from the Guidance Office for any paying job that they obtain if they are under age 18.
  • Topaz Healthcare: Topaz Healthcare is a private Healthcare Services practice located in Saratoga. They are looking for a few rising juniors and rising seniors to be summer interns for around 10-12 hours/week (flexible hours).   • Baskin Robbins: Baskin Robbins at 15730 Los Gatos Blvd is currently looking for new employees ages 16+. Up to $15/hr. Visit the store for more information and to obtain an application.
  • Adventures in Writing Camp: Drawing from music, technology, art, and theater, Adventures in Writing Camp inspires reluctant writers and delights those that already have “the bug.” Elementary-aged campers become authors by publishing their own eBook and middle school students create podcasts. Teaching at camp requires a two-week commitment and we have positions available for both credentialed/experienced teachers as well as high school graduates and college students who are interested in working with children.   • YSI Summer Science Camps: YSI (Youth Science Institute) is looking for motivated summer camp instructors to help with their Summer Science Camps for PreK through 6th graders. Weekly camp topics include animals, fishing, bike riding, physics, mystery solving and more!   • Summer Intern: A Saratoga resident is looking for a (non-paid) summer intern to help build a platform for her non-fiction self-help book through social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.).   • Misc. Jobs: An elderly woman in the neighborhood is requesting help (for pay) with odd jobs around the yard/house (i.e. weeding, gardening, changing air filters, etc.). If interested, contact Muriel at 408-741-2220.

  • Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC): MTC is hiring for paid interns this summer ($15/hour).   • TUTREE Internship: TUTREE is a small local Startup that is developing a platform to organize and streamline the process of finding and becoming a tutor for K-12 students. Intern with them for three or more months in Marketing and Product Design. Must be 15 years or older.   • Campbell Job Fair: The City of Campbell has a fifteen-member Youth Commission that acts in an advisory capacity to Campbell City Council on matters relating to youth and teens. They will be hosting a Teen Job Fair on Friday, February 1st from 3:30-5:00pm at the Campbell Community Center, Orchard City Banquet Hall. They would like to invite all teens in the LGSUHSD. They want to provide job opportunities to as many teens as they can! Please see the attached Job Fair flyer for review.   • Tutor/DayCare for Local Family: a local family needs help picking up their 2 children (2nd & 4th grader) from Foothill Elementary School. The responsibilities would be to pick up the children at 2:30pm, take them home and help them with homework until 5pm, Monday-Friday. You must have had your driver's license for at least 1 year.   • Saratoga Star Aquatics: Hiring instructors ($15/hr) and lifeguards ($13/hr) plus a $200 sign-on bonus.
