General Guidelines – Enrollment

Student must reside within school boundaries to attend the school.  Check your address with the Residency Lookup

The enrollment process is online.  In addition to information about the student, several supporting documents are needed.  All parents need to provide:

  1. Proof of Residency, copy of document type 1
    • ONE of the following forms of parent/guardian’s photo ID:
      ____ Current California Driver’s License
      ____ Current California Picture ID
      ____ Valid Passport or Consulate-Issued Picture ID

  2. Proof of Residency, copy of document type 2
    • ONE of the following documents with parent/guardian’s name and LGSUHSD residence address:
      ____ Current valid vehicle registration card
      ____ Current year’s W-2 form(s)
      ____ Current paycheck stub
      ____ Declarations Page from: Current Homeowners/Renters or Vehicle Insurance policy
      ____ Current Voter Registration
      ____ Current correspondence from a government agency, e.g. IRS or Social Security

  3. Proof of Residency, copy of document type 3
    • If you own your residence, provide a copy of ONE of the following documents with parent/guardian’s name and LGSUHSD residence address:
      ____ Current Property Tax Bill
      ____ Final closing statement or deed (only if the home was purchased within the past calendar year)

    OR

    • If you rent or lease your residence, provide copies of these TWO documents with parent/guardian’s name and LGSUHSD residence address:
      ____ Lease/Rental Agreement signed & valid for the current school year

    AND

    ____ Proof of current payment, e.g. copy of a receipt, cancelled check or bank statement for the most recent payment
