	Cheer Raising Funds for MDA The cheer team is hosting a BBQ at the Argonaut Safeway this Friday, Sept. 3rd, from 4 - 8:00. Enjoy a meal (burger, hot dog or sausage, plus chips and drink) for a suggested $5 donation, and dessert (root beer floats and banana splits) for a $2 donation. All proceeds go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

	First Dance of the year.... Back to school dance will be held on Sept. 4th from 8:00 - 11:00 in the quad. If you want to bring a guest please download "Guest Approval Form" and have your guest fill it out.
	SHS Speech & Debate Booster Club parent meeting SHS Speech & Debate Booster Club will hold it's first parent meeting on Tuesday, September 7th, at 7:00 pm in the school library. Our head coach Mr. Rector and assistant coach Mr. Clemmons will be there to give the parents the overview of the program and answer any questions. The parent committee will help you with the membership registration if you haven't done so. The Coast Forensics League Demo Day is Saturday, September 11th at Los Altos High School.
